My landscapes are quite deserted due to my subject preferences. However, the human race is usually an implicit part of the scenery - suggested though not directly expressed. But sometimes I jump out of my comfort zone and express human existence explicitly - usually through a slightly restrained, distant and alienated meta-perspective. While jumping I usually try to avoid the romanticised sublime belittlement of humankind even though I’ve noticed it’s quite popular in landscape photography.
