Land
With an area of just 42,947 km2 shared by a population of 5.8 million people and a landscape and climate that is suitable for intensive agriculture, there is a battle for space. Denmark is a country where every square meter serves homo sapiens. Pristine nature is the exception if not non-existent. Nothing is left to coincidence. I am concerned with the traces we leave behind, how our presence is expressed for better or for worse and how we manage the limited space we share. My attention is drawn to our relationship with the landscape, which is the basis of our existence, but we nevertheless have developed a weaker and weaker relation to over time.
