It's nothing very special actually. Worth a minor detour probably or a pleasant break for passersby. But anyway, I keep coming back to this small peninsula with it’s awkward mix of forests, meadows, swamps and post-industrial scars. Why? It’s convenient basically. It's within reach in 10 minutes. But I guess it's more complicated than that. As a landscape photographer I’m convinced that I’m at my best in the landscape I know intimately – in the landscape where I don’t suffer from the voyeuristic perspective of the traveller.
